Unica Campaign Builder-Interact

Summary :

The Unica Campaign Builder is responsible for configuring and executing campaigns in a

customers environment using applications in the Unica Suite : Campaign, Interact,  Optimize and

Plan. Knowledge and functional experience with the supporting third-party components

including : web application layer, database (SQL Skills / data model knowledge) and operating

systems is preferred. This position requires the ability to work independently, take accountability

for solution delivery and function as a team member with both colleagues, business partners, and

clients.

Experience :

Qualified candidates should have 1-5+ years of experience and a demonstrated track record in

functional configuration of Unica marketing solutions and / or other marketing solutions. The role

requires a 4-year university degree.(B-Tech / M-Tech / MCA)

Responsibilities :

Qualified candidates are skilled in the configuration, testing, and execution of campaigns using the

Unica Suite : Campaign, Interact, Optimize and Plan. Campaign Builders are responsible for :

1. Project scheduling, process flow and deliverables

a. Quickly acclimate to clients environment : including business processes, organizational

structure, required technologies, and data.

b. Collaborate and negotiate with project team and clients on schedules and deliverables.

c. Help clients establish or refine an end-to-end Campaign request process that includes

review and sign-off on counts / offers / creatives / output records.

d. Surface project risks, scope changes and additional opportunities to project team.

2. Requirements gathering and campaign design

a. Document and communicate all requirements (business, functional, technical, and data)

for proposed campaign build and deliverables.

b. Lead and facilitate client interactions throughout campaign development lifecycle,

including documenting reviews / approvals, and promoting end user enablement, both in

group and one-to-one settings.

3. Campaign development, execution, and testing

a. Perform product configuration and testing : unit and system, including use case and test

plan creation / execution.

b. Validate campaign execution : counts, cell / treatment codes, sample output file records

c. Support / facilitate customer executed UAT (User Acceptance Testing).

d. Document, present and gain client acceptance of proposed campaign build and

deliverables.

4. Team participation

a. Contribute to a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement

b. Participate in peer review, share best practices, and lead process improvement efforts.

c. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Unica :  Interact,   Optimize and Plan . Also :   Unica Deliver, Journey and Link . All were formally branded Unica, Affinium or IBM

Must Have :  Unica Interact experience, SOAP, REST API calls exp.

Good to have :  Adobe Target, API configurations, oracle, Java
