About The Business :

As India's largest manufacturer of forklift trucks, Godrej Material Handling offers an extensive range of forklifts, which include electric, LPG, and diesel counterbalanced forklifts up to 25 tonne capacity, warehouse trucks, and specialised trucks for specific applications. The business offers lease, hire-purchase, and sale of pre-owned equipment as well as service maintenance programs through a network of 16 branches and over 45 dealers across India. Job Profile :

The incumbent would be responsible for the following

1. Rental Business Development

  • Achieving sales targets through direct sales efforts is crucial for the growth of our rental business.
  • Ensuring timely renewal acquisitions helps maintain a steady revenue stream.
  • Acquiring new customers is essential for expanding our market presence.
  • Increasing customer wallet share by offering additional services and products enhances our profitability.
  • Enhancing the profitability of rental contracts through higher pricing and expanded transportation scope is a key focus.

2. Customer Satisfaction

  • Effective customer relationship management is vital for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Conducting application studies at customer sites helps tailor our solutions to meet their specific needs.
  • 3. Market Development

  • Pitching our operations and services to both existing and potential OMCs (Oil Marketing Companies) is a strategic priority.
  • Mapping competitor activities allows us to stay competitive and identify market opportunities.
  • 4. Receivables Management

  • Successful negotiation and timely offer submission are critical for managing receivables efficiently.
  • 5. Sales MIS

  • Maintaining accurate data in Salesforce (SFDC) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems ensures effective sales management and reporting.
  • 6. Organizational Imperatives

  • Actively participating in and originating Kaizens fosters a culture of continuous improvement.
