JD for Principal Consultant Strategy
- Lead and deliver business planning engagements, including opportunity assessment, strategic roadmap development, and translating insights into actionable, high-impact plans for clients.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, co-create actionable, tailored solutions by deeply engaging with clients and understanding their unique challenges and constraints while ensuring that the client feels supported throughout the engagement.
- Champion the development of world-class products by continuously elevating standards across all project dimensions and cultivate a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Own live project end-to-end : scoping, planning, execution, and quality of delivery while proactively mitigating risks / bottlenecks and ensuring the project is delivered within the allocated budget and committed timeline.
- Become a subject matter expert in at least one domain of a strategic consulting business by staying informed about the market trends, consistently expanding knowledge, experience, and insight.
- Create intellectual property—case studies, frameworks, whitepapers, thought leadership content.
- Create clear, persuasive, and visually engaging reports, presentations, and workshops.
- Support pitches, RFPs, and pre-sales activities; contribute to crafting commercial proposals.
- Contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities with existing clients, participating in pitches for new business.
Requirements
Primary Functional Skills
8 to 10 years of experience with business planning (Not business forecasting),
must have the ability to appreciate the role of consumer behaviour,
need gaps & competition while putting together the plan.
Must be able to isolate an organisation's 'right to win' while defending a business plan.
Organisational Skills
Support the business development team with cases, perspectives & market information to create sharper submissions.Build a crack team of business planners over time.Work seamlessly with clients and client teams and internal cross-functional resources to develop an ironclad future for the client organisationCarry the excitement of a brief across stakeholdersBenefits
