Lead – Manufacturing Applications

Job Purpose :

The Application Lead will be responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise applications that support the Compressed Bio Gas (CBG) manufacturing sites operations & business. This includes LIMS, Remote monitoring interfaces, and custom applications. The role ensures reliable application performance, manages stakeholder expectations, leads solution design, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver IT-enabled process improvements.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead end-to-end application lifecycle managementfrom requirement gathering to deployment and support.

Act as the primary point of contact for all business-critical applications used at the site.

Manage configuration, upgrades, integration, and documentation of enterprise and manufacturing applications (e.g., LIMS, MForms, Remote Monitoring Applications etc.).

Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across systems.

Drive application-related projects including upgrades, rollouts, and new module implementations.

Develop detailed project plans and manage timelines, budgets, and resources.

Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and IT teams for solution delivery.

Liaise with production, quality, maintenance, and logistics teams to understand business needs and translate them into IT solutions.

Provide training and support to key users and ensure adoption of best practices.

Lead root cause analysis of application issues and implement preventive measures.

Ensure minimal disruption to operations during application changes or maintenance activities.

Maintain compliance with internal IT policies, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines

Document application architecture, workflows, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.

Mentor and guide junior application development and support staff.

Foster a culture of continuous learning and process improvement.

Key Requirement : B.E / B.Tech with relevant experience of 10-15 years
