Senior SAP MM Consultant - Configuration & Implementation

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP MM Consultant to join our team in Ahmedabad.

The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in SAP MM (Materials Management) along with proven experience in end-to-end implementations, configuration, and support.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and seamless integration with other SAP modules.

This position involves working closely with business stakeholders, gathering requirements, designing solutions, and ensuring smooth system Responsibilities :

• Lead SAP MM module design, configuration, and implementation across procure-to-pay and inventory processes.
• Manage end-to-end procurement cycles, including Purchase Requisition (PR), Purchase Order (PO), Goods Receipt (GR), and Invoice Verification.
• Configure and optimize : Material Master Data, Vendor Master, and Purchase Info Records to align with business requirements.
• Set up and maintain Release Strategies for procurement approval workflows.
• Perform Material Valuation and Account Determination ensuring accurate financial postings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of MM with FI, CO, SD, PP, and WM modules.
• Provide production support, issue resolution, and continuous improvements in SAP MM processes.
• Conduct requirement analysis, fit-gap assessments, and solution design for business users.
• Deliver high-quality functional specifications for RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows).
• Support testing phases (unit testing, integration testing, and UAT) and prepare training documentation for end users.
• Act as a trusted advisor for clients, ensuring SAP MM best practices are applied to optimize business Skills & Expertise :
