Data Visualization Engineer

Role - Power BI Developer

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelors (or above) degree in Computer Science.
• Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. 5-7 years of experience with Power BI, Microsoft SQL Server programming, and Snowflake Integration.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Technical Skills Very strong Power BI development skills including Power BI Desktop (report development) Power BI Service (publishing, workspaces, sharing) Strong T-SQL skills for writing, debugging, and tuning stored procedures, views, and SQL queries. Strong Power Query skills (M Language).
• Experience with data modeling.
• Experience with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for calculated columns, measures, KPIs Some experience with Python or R for advanced analytics would be desirable.
• Working experience with integrating Power BI with Snowflake would be desirable.
• Key Responsibilities Develop, publish, and maintain interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and produce effective visualizations.
• Work with various data sources including SQL Server, Snowflake, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, and cloud services (Azure, etc.).
• Optimize dashboards with a focus on usability and performance.
• Implement row-level security (RLS) and other data governance protocols.
• Collaborate with business analysts to iterate on reporting needs.
• Build and maintain data models using Power Query (M), DAX, and Power BI datasets.
• Provide technical support and documentation.
• Shift Timings - 2 PM to 11 PM
