Job descriptionWork with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation level and frameworks like COBIT and IT4IT. Develop and integrate web services, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), and database-level Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes. Utilize web technologies such as XML, HTML, JavaScript, and web services in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment. Drive design and strategy around ServiceNow tools to optimize performance and usability. Apply knowledge of Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), Virtual Private Network (VPN), Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), and other security technologies. Hold a degree in Information Technology or possess equivalent proven experience in technical development roles. Communicate fluently in English (both written and spoken) to interact effectively with global teams.
Description GSPANN is hiring ServiceNow Developers to develop, customize, and integrate the ServiceNow platform for business needs. The role involves workflow automation, scripting, IT Service Management (ITSM), and IT Operations Management (ITOM).
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and customize the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while ensuring best practices in development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements.
- Implement workflows, scripting, and integrations in ServiceNow to enhance system functionality.
- Review code and conduct quality control checks to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Design and execute test cases to validate software quality and reliability.
- Document code and application functionality for future reference and system maintenance.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in ServiceNow development to drive innovation.
- Gain familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) processes to align with industry best practices.
