Role Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager ( Projects) to oversee Generative AI and NLP projects, managing annotation processes and linguistic tasks. The ideal candidate combines robust project management skills with technical expertise in linguistics and AI.

Key Responsibilities :

 Manage end-to-end AI annotation, training, and linguistic projects, including NLP, NER,

and Generative AI tasks.

 Define and execute project scopes, timelines, resources, and deliverables in collaboration

with internal and external stakeholders.

 Coordinate cross-functional, global teams of annotators, linguists, solution architects, and

consultants.

 Maintain effective communication channels, ensuring transparency and alignment with

stakeholders and clients.

 Monitor and manage project performance, adherence to budgets, quality standards, and

implement corrective actions as necessary.

 Develop, evaluate, and recommend linguistic annotation tools and data management

systems based on project requirements.

 Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and project

outcomes.

 Prepare detailed, proactive reports for senior management, addressing progress, risks, and

solutions clearly.

Required Skills & Competencies :

 Proven experience in AI project management, specifically in Generative AI, NLP, or

linguistic annotation projects.

 Strong analytical skills with a solution-focused approach to problem-solving.

 Expertise in linguistic annotation principles, NLP technologies, and AI training

methodologies.

 Exceptional organizational capabilities, capable of managing complex projects under

tight deadlines.

 Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.

 Familiarity with AI annotation platforms and related data management systems.

 Knowledge of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and compliance standards.

Qualifications :

 Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant project management experience.

 Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computational Linguistics, AI, Computer Science, or a

related field.

 Previous experience working remotely or in hybrid environments.

 Proficiency in at least one language other than English (preferred).

Preferred Experience :

 Advanced degree in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, or a related discipline.

 Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, global AI and NLP annotation

projects.

 Demonstrable experience in client relationship management and effective team

mentorship.
