Decision Point develops analytics and big data solutions for CPG, retail, and consumer-focused industries, working with global Fortune 500 clients.

We provide analytical insights and solutions to help develop sales and marketing strategies in the retail and CPG industry by leveraging diverse data sources, including Point of Sale data, syndicated category data, primary shipments, and other similar sources.

Founded by Ravi Shankar and his classmates from IIT Madras, Decision Point boasts a team of data scientists, business consultants, and tech-savvy engineers.

Our mission is to extract every ounce of value from data for our clients.

Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and deploy new features and applications from requirements to release.
  • Maintain and enhance existing cloud-based (Azure) or hybrid applications.
  • Migrate legacy applications following established sanitization and modernization processes.
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters, stakeholders, and product teams to ensure timely delivery within budget.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across Dev, QA, and Prod environments.
  • Ensure adherence to coding and security standards; review pull requests and manage branch merges.
  • Provide alternative design solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and security standards.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers and interns on application design, troubleshooting, and coding practices.

Requirements :

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8- 10 years of experience in creating web-based applications using the Microsoft Stack.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks : C#, ASP.NET, Blazor, React / Angular, HTML5, CSS, SQL, Web API.
  • Hands-on experience with : Visual Studio, SQL Server, Azure Cosmos, Snowflake connectivity, Azure App Services, Azure Docker / Containers, Azure Key Vault, Azure OpenAI, Azure Communication Services, ADO, Azure Application Insights & Monitoring.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Proven ability to lead projects independently and deliver results without supervision.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to see the big picture and challenge inconsistencies.
  • Proactive, self-starter mindset with a commitment to continuous learning.
