About your role

The Business Analyst role will support Finance portfolio with business analysis leading to propositions, requirements elicitation and leverage data knowledge and finance expertise to deliver tech solutions for Business teams.

Engage with business stakeholders around propositions, insights / analytics and functional outcomes

Provide SME expertise around art of possible within data ecosystem to serve finance function

Acts as interface between Business and tech teams to translate functional outcomes into system requirements

Own and manage business analysis deliverables and ensure that they meet all the requirements of the business

Proactively work with business users to identify, define, and clarify scope / issues in terms of complex business / systems requirements.

Identify options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability / feasibility

Support business & technology teams in data analysis and during UAT phase.

Define prototypes and proof of concept solutions by using data blending and reporting tools

About you

With a solid experience 8 to 10 years as Business Analyst / Functional expert in Asset Management or Financial Services firm - you are the right expert we need. You will succeed because you :

Expertise in Asset Management and Mutual fund industry

Experience with data warehousing solutions with sound understanding of underlying data for reporting, insights and analytics

Exposure to Financial Accounting and Management Reporting processes (like Consolidations, Allocations, Budgeting, Account reconciliations etc) with experience on GL, Chart of Accounts

Experience of Data Modelling in collaboration with Tech Architect to define solution / requirements

Experience of PL / SQL for data querying & analysis and Reporting / BI tools

Experience of managing senior business stakeholders
