Purpose of the Role :

GDT Logistics, part of the Customer Operations business product domain, serves as the digital backbone of Unilevers logistics ecosystem. It delivers scalable, data-driven solutions across Transportation, Warehouse, and Logistics Analytics products. The team manages critical global platforms such as OTM, SAP eWMS, and Blue Yonder, enabling efficiency, cost optimisation, and operational excellence. With a strong emphasis on AI, automation, and integrated planning, GDT Logistics plays a vital role in driving end-to-end supply chain transformation.

The Logistics Release & Controls Product Engineer is responsible for ensuring operational stability, compliance, and continuous improvement across logistics applicationsparticularly in Transportation, Warehouse (WH), and Data domains. This role bridges the gap between product delivery and governance by managing release cycles, enforcing control frameworks, and driving audit readiness.

What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be :

Release Management :

• Plan and execute monthly, weekly, and emergency release cycles across logistics products (e.g., OTM, EPOD, SAP EWM, Blue Yonder).
• Coordinate with product teams to align on release windows and downtime schedules.
• Manage change activities via ServiceNow, including CAB approvals, CRQ tracking, and deployment governance.
• Drive automation in release processes (e.g., G-Charm, DevOps pipelines) to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
