Job Summary : The primary role of a Senior Associate is to review moderate to complex tax returns prepared by Associates and Advanced associates. Senior tax associates should foster a collaborative relationship with associates and managers.

Responsibilities

• Display a good level of understanding of basic and moderate tax concepts on individual tax returns (1040), and continuously enhance tax knowledge for associates and advanced associates through client work and staying up-to-date with tax developments.
• Ensure to have exceptional quality and ensure timely delivery of tasks assigned to associates.
• Train and assist associates and advanced associates with their questions on day to day basis.
• Assist the team in tax research to develop a deep understanding of tax theory and principles and apply them appropriately on individual tax returns to fulfill client requirements.
• Enhance teamwork and have the ability to communicate with the teams in India and in the US.
• Provide assistance to managers on projects, as requested.
• Demonstrate independent judgment and decision-making capabilities when preparing tax returns.
• Foster a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in US Individual taxation (1040)
