Job Title : Business Development Officer
The Business Development Officer is responsible for driving deal origination, client acquisition, and strategic partnerships within the private equity ecosystem. This role blends market research, networking, and consultative selling to convert high-value relationships into M&A advisory and transformation mandates.
- This position involves originating and qualifying opportunities with PE firms, portfolio companies, and corporates across priority sectors.
- Building and managing a pipeline of buy-side, sell-side, and transformation mandates is also crucial.
- Developing trusted relationships with Managing Partners, Operating Partners, Investment Directors, and CXOs is essential.
Ideal Candidate :
A Bachelor's or Master's in Business, Finance, or Management, or related fields is required.Three years of experience in business development, consulting, investment banking, or PE / M&A is necessary.Outstanding communication, analysis, and relationship-building skills are vital.The ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced, global environment is essential.Collaborating across U.S. time zones with senior executives is comfortable.An entrepreneurial mindset, strong follow-through, and high attention to detail are must-haves.Prior exposure to private equity or corporate development is a plus.Key Metrics for Success :
