Business Analyst Contract Role
- 3 months contract initially, immediate start
- Preston-based, 3 days onsite 2 days WFH
- $700-$740 inclusive per day

This role is working at their modern offices in Preston with 3 days onsite and 2 days WFH.
THE ROLE
The company is currently navigating a significant system integration and transformation phase, and requires an expert BA to join their Identity team. This critical engagement focuses on accelerating the consolidation and optimisation of their core IDAM ecosystem.
You will be working directly with the Identity Product Owner and Identity Engineers to drive key project workstreams. This includes :
Requirements Elicitation : Lead workshops and interviews to gather, analyse, and document precise business, technical, and functional requirements for identity platform integration.Process Analysis & Gap Analysis : Conduct detailed analysis of the client's current provisioning, access management, and IDAM processes. Define and document optimised processes, undertaking comprehensive Gap Analysis.Solution Design & Documentation : Develop clear functional specifications, facilitate process mapping using BPMN, define solution options, and prepare data-driven recommendations for platform decisions.Agile Artefacts : Create high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria using the client’s preferred tools, such as Azure DevOps.Platform Scope : Engagement requires proficiency working across key client platforms, including Okta, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, and ServiceNow.ABOUT YOU
BA Expertise : Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a Business Analyst, with a demonstrable track record in Identity and Access Management (IAM / IDAM) projects.Technical Foundations : Strong understanding of core IDAM concepts : provisioning, authentication, authorisation, and identity lifecycle management.Platform Experience : Experience working with and documenting requirements for platforms such as Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, or Active Directory.Stakeholder Engagement : Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders (Engineers, Architects, Business Users) and effectively influence outcomes.Autonomy : A self-starter with a proactive approach, capable of managing workstreams and providing solutions with minimal guidance or onboarding.APPLY NOW!
