Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior WAN / Cisco Firewall Engineer located in Hyderabad, India. The Senior WAN / Cisco Firewall Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing WAN and Cisco firewall solutions. Daily tasks include troubleshooting network issues, configuring Cisco devices, securing network infrastructure, and optimizing network performance. The role also involves coordinating with team members to ensure the smooth operation of network systems and providing technical support to clients when necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience with WAN implementation and management
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco firewall devices
• Knowledge of network security principles and best practices
• Solid understanding of LAN / WAN / MAN buildouts
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
• Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP are highly desirable
• Experience in IT facilities management and technical support is beneficial
