Quality Analyst (Manual Testing with SQL) (3-5 years)-6 Positions

Top Activities and Responsibilities :

Analyze functional requirements and / or design specifications, translate them into test cases, and develop a detailed test plan utilizing knowledge of the functional application.

Develop, Maintain, and execute test cases for functional, performance and regression tests

Reviewing test cases for peers and giving valuable comments about the test case coverage and functionality.

Execute the test cases / test scripts and report bugs (SRs) in the bug-tracking tool . (All types of Testing : System Integration testing, RegressionTesting, Ad-Hoc Testing, Translation Testing)

Validating the bugs, that are assigned to Individual person / QA Team and track them to closure. Assigned bugs should be monitored and action should be taken within 2 working days.

Gaining more knowledge of the product / process and demonstrating the same in the area of work and be an SME on product and QA process.

Adhering to the work schedules and process maintained by team and client.

Helping other team members when required and demonstrating team spirit in all interactions with the team.

Daily status report to QA Lead / QA manager. Discussing with the QA Lead / QA manager in case of issues and concerns related to work.

Come up with Innovative ideas and create new templates that can simplify work & improve efficiencies.

Attend weekly / daily conference calls and team meetings.
