About the Role :
As a QA Automation Lead - SAP Test Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust automation strategies for SAP modules. You will lead a QA team, set up automation frameworks, and ensure thorough testing across SAP applications such as HCM, FICO, MM, and SD. Your work will directly impact the reliability, performance, and scalability of mission-critical Responsibilities :
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of automation test strategies for SAP systems.
- Develop and maintain scalable, efficient automation frameworks tailored to SAP modules.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and convert them into test scenarios.
- Oversee test planning, test execution, and defect management processes across projects.
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members, review test scripts and reports, and ensure best practices in automation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define quality goals and metrics.
- Utilize and integrate automation tools like UFT, Worksoft Certify, Selenium for SAP, Tricentis Tosca, etc.
- Conduct performance, regression, and integration testing for SAP implementations and upgrades.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for automation scripts, test cases, and execution Skills & Experience :
- 8-12 years of total experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and Software Testing.
- Minimum of 4-5 years in test automation, with a focus on enterprise systems.
- At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in SAP testing across modules such as SAP HCM, FICO, MM, SD, etc.
- Proven experience in leading QA teams and managing end-to-end test cycles.
- Strong understanding of SAP-specific workflows, testing methodologies, and test case design.
- Proficiency in tools such as :
1. UFT (Unified Functional Testing)
2. Worksoft Certify
3. Tricentis Tosca
4. Selenium integrated with SAP systems
Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate with multiple Qualifications :Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications are a plus.Exposure to Agile / Scrum development methodologies.Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps tools is an added advantage.(ref : hirist.tech)
