DGM- Safety and Environment

Role & Responsibilities :

• Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive health and safety programs across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations, including OSHA and MSHA.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture in a high-production, fast-paced environment.
• Ensure consistent safety compliance across multiple departments and shifts.
• Manage strategy and execution of safety programs, aligning with organizational objectives.
• Identify potential hazards and implement risk management strategies to prevent incidents.
• Oversee incident management, including investigation, reporting, and implementation of preventive measures.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for compliance and regulatory requirements.
