About the role
This role supports the development of investment strategies, assists in deal execution, contributes to the incubation of new businesses, and plays a role in group restructuring activities. This position offers a significant opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the Group. The role involves close collaboration with the senior leadership team, with a focus on supporting the growth of the investment portfolio and new business ventures.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leading investments for the Family Office
Contribute towards developing the Family Office investment strategy in alignment with family goals and values.
Support the identification and evaluation of potential deals in public and private markets.
Contribute to due diligence and risk assessment for investment opportunities.
Assist in managing the deal lifecycle, including sourcing, closing, post-deal portfolio management, and exits.
2. Group Restructuring and Realignment
Manage group restructuring activities and the realignment of various businesses.
Assist in evaluating and executing potential spin-offs, mergers, and IPOs for existing and future business ventures.
Contribute to strategic realignment efforts to enhance shareholder value, operational efficiency, and business growth.
3. New Business Incubation
Assist in identifying and evaluating opportunities for the incubation of new business ventures.
Support the incubation and development of new businesses, from ideation to execution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the successful launch and growth of new business initiatives
Who are we looking for?
Education :
Bachelor s degree in business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is strongly preferred
Experience :
6 - 8 years of experience in diverse sectors relevant to the group.
Experience of having managed investment for family offices will be preferred.
Skills / Knowledge Good to Have :
Proven track record in optimizing diverse investment portfolios across public and private markets, including direct investments, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and strategic partnerships.
Strong experience in identifying, evaluating, and executing new business opportunities, including market analysis, competitive intelligence, strategic planning, and the 0 to 1 journey of businesses
Experience of having worked in sectors / industries that the group is present in or wants to participate in
