Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Civil Engineer located in Tirunelveli. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include creating detailed design layouts in CAD software, ensuring compliance with government regulations, preparing project cost estimates, managing stormwater systems, and collaborating with other engineers and project managers to determine project specifications. The engineer will also be involved in inspections and providing solutions to any project issues.

Qualifications

• BE Civil / Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, building codes, and safety regulations
• 2D & 3D Drawing skills (AutoCAD or similar software)
• Project estimating and material calculation skills
• Building plan coordination and site supervision
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Experience

Minimum of 3 years experience in civil construction / building projects

Hands-on experience in residential or commercial real estate projects preferred
