Role Overview :
We are seeking an experienced ETRM Architect with strong data management and analytics experience to lead the design and development of data-intensive solutions in a trading environment.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of virtual data consolidation, curve building, valuation integration, and analytics around commodity products.
Experience in European Power & Gas markets is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architect and implement virtual data consolidation frameworks across diverse data sources.
- Design and support systems for valuation of commodity products, integrating internal and external data feeds (e.g., ICE, Platts, EEX).
- Lead the development of intraday forward curves for power, gas, and oil products.
- Build and support volatility surfaces and volatility smiles for options and other complex instruments.
- Provide architectural oversight for ETL pipelines ensuring scalable and real-time data ingestion and processing.
- Collaborate with quants, traders, and risk teams to ensure data readiness for modeling and decision-making.
- Define data governance models, metadata, and lineage tracking in alignment with enterprise architecture.
- Support reporting, analytics, and dashboarding by enabling clean and consolidated datasets.
Required Skills :
Strong architectural experience in ETRM platforms.Strong ETL skills (preferably Python, SQL, Spark, Informatica, etc.)Domain understanding of European Power & Gas markets or Oil products.Experience building Intraday Curves and Volatility Surfaces / Smiles.Experience in virtual consolidation of trading and market data sources.Integration experience with pricing / valuation systems.Strong understanding of data modeling for risk, PnL, forecasting.Familiarity with Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar cloud / data platforms.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Preferred Qualifications :
Prior experience as ETRM Architect or Senior ETRM Developer with architecture responsibilities.Hands-on experience with time-series data for real-time or batch analytics.Knowledge of regulatory compliance reporting in energy trading (e.g., REMIT, EMIR).Education :
