Job descriptionWork with frameworks such as Django, Flask, FastAPI. Develop and maintain server-side logic, APIs, and database interactions. Build secure back-end processes that ensure data is protected using JSON Web Tokens for authentication and Single Sign-On (SSO). Design and manage relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and / or non-relational (e.g., MongoDB) databases. Write efficient queries and optimize database performance. Integrate third-party services, APIs using FastAPI, and tools as needed. Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy and maintain applications. Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality. Debug and resolve technical issues across the stack. Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver features. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. Propose and implement improvements to existing systems and processes. Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python & Javascript Node.JS is a plus). Familiarity with collaborative interface design tools such as Figma. Understanding of RESTful APIs & Websocket APIs. Basic or advanced knowledge in any cloud platforms (e.g., AWS (preferred), Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Good understanding and experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, CI / CD pipelines). Knowledge of Agile development methodologies. Knowledge of security best practices (OAuth, JWT, data encryption, secure coding). Database expertise (SQL & NoSQL e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB). Familiarity with Cucumber and Cypress testing frameworks is a plus. Experience with mobile app development is a bonus. Exposure to machine learning or data engineering concepts is a plus.
