We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to manage borrowings and investment accounting operations. This role involves working with advanced financial systems, ensuring accurate reconciliations, and collaborating with multiple teams to maintain compliance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting for
borrowings
(Term Loans, Debentures, Subordinated Debt, Commercial Papers) using
FinMechanics (FM)
software.
Ensure timely completion of finance charges such as
interest expenses, processing fees, and amortization
(EIR as per Ind AS 109).
Handle
investment accounting
for Treasury Bills, Government Securities, Reverse Repo, Fixed Deposits, including interest income and accruals.
Operate
FinMechanics
daily : review accounting reports and upload data into
Oracle Fusion
via interface reports.
Maintain complete control over
Bank Reconciliation , ensuring accurate reporting of open items and coordination with the treasury team.
Reconcile operational control accounts, coordinate with operations and collections teams, and prepare monthly management reports.
Utilize
Excel reconciliation tools
or automated applications for bank and control account reconciliations; continuously improve software functionalities.
Prepare and deliver
BRS MIS
and GL reconciliations for control accounts.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors for BRS audits, borrowings, investments, and finance charges reviews, ensuring compliance and implementing best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education :
CA Inter and Bachelor’s degree in Accounts.
Experience :
4–5 years in Financial Accounting, with a focus on managing day-to-day accounting entries, MIS, and reconciliations, preferably in the financial services industry.
Technical Skills : Strong experience in
borrowings and investment accounting .
Hands-on expertise with
FinMechanics
and
Oracle Fusion .
Proficiency in
bank reconciliation
and control account reconciliations.
Working knowledge of
Ind AS 109
and EIR calculations.
Advanced
Excel skills
and experience with reconciliation tools.
Analytical Abilities :
Ability to interpret high-volume financial data and create presentations for senior management.
Communication Skills :
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Leadership Skills :
Strong leadership and team management abilities to drive a culture of excellence and transparency in financial reporting.
