PHP Developer - Backend Architecture

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct analysis of website and application requirements to understand business needs.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented back-end code and build high-performing PHP modules.
• Develop back-end portals with a focus on optimized database design and interaction.
• Act as the owner of the system
• You will play a key role in the development of the core product, working directly with the Business team on realizing their needs and translating it into the product
• You will be involved in the overall design, architecture and development of the application, maintaining quality and ensuring performance and compliance to software standards and guidelines
• You will adhere to the best practices of the Agile & TDD
• You will collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design, prioritise and launch new features
• You will take ownership for organizing code and maintain its integrity at all points in time
• You will be responsible for understanding and implementing security and data protection best practices
• Develop and maintain dynamic web applications using PHP.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Work with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, project managers, and QA testers.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to operations and activities.
• Troubleshoot application and code issues effectively to ensure smooth operation.
• Integrate various data storage solutions seamlessly with the application.
• Respond promptly to integration requests from front-end developers, ensuring smooth collaboration.
• Finalize back-end features and thoroughly test web applications to ensure functionality and quality.
• Continuously update and alter application features to enhance overall performance and user experience.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle, from planning to deployment and maintenance.
