Web Developer - PHP / Wordpress

SentientGeeks is looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team on an urgent basis.

The ideal candidate should be highly proficient in PHP and WordPress development, with proven expertise in building and customizing plugins, widgets, and themes.

Hands-on experience with GraphQL and a strong command over database queries (MySQL / SQL) are essential.

Familiarity with React.js will be an added advantage.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are Skills & Experience :

• Strong proficiency in PHP and WordPress CMS.
• Proven experience in plugin and widget development.
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of database queries (MySQL / SQL optimization and Familiarity with front-end technologies : HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Good communication skills and ability to work Responsibilities :
• Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, plugins, and widgets.
• Implement and optimize GraphQL APIs for seamless data exchange.
• Write and fine-tune database queries to ensure performance, speed, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Work with PHP, WordPress, React.js, and GraphQL to deliver new features.
• Ensure responsive design, security, and code quality across devices and browsers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and provide ongoing technical support
