We are seeking a highly driven Program Manager – Spare Parts to lead and manage our spare parts supply chain operations. This role demands strong expertise in handling a high volume of SKUs (500+ daily) and proven experience in managing small spares within the automobile industry.
The Program Manager will be responsible for end-to-end spare parts supply chain management – from demand planning and procurement to storage, distribution, and performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and optimize the spare parts supply chain across planning, procurement, storage, and execution.
- Oversee daily operations involving 500+ SKUs, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely availability.
- Develop and implement effective demand planning and replenishment strategies.
- Ensure warehouse processes are streamlined for spares handling, with clear focus on storage optimization and picking efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, production, logistics, for seamless operations.
- Track and report on operational KPIs (inventory health, turnaround time, fill rates, etc.) to ensure high service levels.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Lead and mentor ground execution teams for effective on-floor performance.
Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).4+ years’ experience in the automobile industry with strong exposure to spare parts management.Proven ability to handle large SKU portfolios with high accuracy and efficiency.Strong analytical and planning skills with ability to translate forecasts into ground execution.Excellent knowledge of inventory control, warehouse management, and supply chain tools.Ability to drive operational excellence and lead cross-functional initiatives.Strong communication and leadership skills to manage teams and stakeholders.
