Technical Director - Communication / Network Protocols

Skills :

• Java or C software development background + Cloud (AWS or Azure) + Domain exp. in communication / Network Leadership :
• Oversee and manage a team of talented engineers, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed.
• Mentor and develop engineers to enhance their technical skills and career growth.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous Development :
• Define and execute the engineering strategy for our CPaaS platform, aligning with business objectives and market trends.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality engineering solutions that meet or exceed customer Expertise :
• Have a deep understanding of CPaaS technologies and architectures, including SMS, voice, WhatsApp,RCS and other communication channels.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, resolving complex technical challenges as :
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a track record of delivering complex projects
• Strong hands-on experience in Java development and system design.
• Deep understanding of SIP, RTP, UDP, and real-time communication protocols.
• Proven expertise in MySQL and Oracle performance tuning and query optimization.
• Solid grasp of network programming, multithreading, and low-latency systems.
• Experience in performance engineering and troubleshooting complex system bottlenecks.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and CI / CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Selenium) and scripting.
• Applied cloud-native principles to optimize application scalability and maintainability, leveraging container orchestration and automated deployment pipelines.
• Proficient Project Management in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, supported by tools such as Jira and MS Project for sprint planning, backlog grooming, and milestone tracking etc.
