WhatsYum is building the future of food businesses on WhatsApp - empowering restaurants, cloud kitchens, and home chefs to go direct-to-customer without aggregator dependency. We help them automate orders, deliveries, and marketing, while giving customers a seamless WhatsApp-first experience.
We’re growing fast and looking for a full-time Content & Community Evangelist who lives and breathes food, loves creating content, and can build vibrant communities around WhatsYum and our partner restaurants.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Storytelling
- Shoot and edit high-quality videos (Reels, Shorts, vlogs) showcasing food, partner restaurants, and WhatsYum stories.
- Create engaging food vlogs, customer stories, and restaurant testimonials.
- Develop creative campaigns for WhatsApp, Instagram, and Telegram.
Evangelism & Brand Advocacy
Act as the face of WhatsYum across digital platforms and communities.Evangelize WhatsYum and our partner restaurants in social groups and communities (WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram).Collaborate with restaurants for co-created content, testimonials, and brand stories.Community Building & Engagement
Build and manage WhatsApp, Instagram, and Telegram communities of food lovers.Spark conversations, drive engagement, and maintain strong relationships with followers.Organize online activations, challenges, and micro-campaigns to grow visibility.Communication & Partnerships
Conduct on-camera interviews and testimonials with restaurant owners.Liaise with partner restaurants to amplify their presence via WhatsYum.Represent WhatsYum as a trusted and energetic voice in the food ecosystem.Ideal Background
Food Vlogging / Content Creation : Prior experience as a food vlogger, influencer, or creator with strong portfolio in video creation & editing.On-Camera Confidence : Excellent communication skills; comfortable in front of the camera and while interviewing restaurant owners.Community Management : Hands-on experience managing online communities (WhatsApp groups, Telegram channels, Instagram pages).Tech-Savvy Creator : Skilled at using editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or mobile apps) and social media growth strategies.Languages : English + local Indian language(s) (Hindi / Kannada / Tamil / Telugu preferred depending on base city).Bonus : Prior collaborations with restaurants, cafes, F&B brands, or lifestyle companies.What We’re Looking For in You
