About The Job :

The position is located at the Pune R&D Centre, within the SAS R&D Pune facility, specifically in the SAS9 team.

We are seeking Software Developers for Viya 3.5 Platform software to perform builds creation, update the software bill of materials (i.e., third-party dependencies), validate security fixes, execute automated tests, and verify the installation / migration process and performance testing.

You will be joining a friendly team with a broad range of experience, to develop and maintain SAS 94 / Viya 3.5 services and products.

Primary Responsibilities :

• You will be deploying the builds on the test servers.
• Perform complex customer scenarios such as perform migration, upgrade in place etc.
• Deployment and Administration of databases (Oracle, Postgres).
• Maintain the automated build and deployment scripts.
• Execute automated security tests.
• Work with customers and technical support for resolution of issues related to deployment, configurations etc.
• Validation and testing of multiple SAS Viya 3.5 services and products.
• Work with developers, technical support product managers in analysis of customer report issues and resolution.
• Demonstrate aptitude for problem solving and debugging of complex software systems.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks, tools, and scripts that address specific needs.
• Design and implement test plans (cases, scenarios, usage).
• Identify risks, issues, potential defects, or defects in any phase of the project life cycle, managing them through closure.

Years of Experience : 5 to 9 years.
