Machining Programmer Position

CNC Machinist Programmer Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished and meticulous CNC Machinist Programmer to collaborate with our programming team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs for coding and designing products.

• Develop, write, test, and refine CNC programs for a variety of machines.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining requirements and specifications.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies to ensure efficient production.
• Optimize existing programs for efficiency, accuracy, and cycle time reduction by analyzing data and implementing process improvements.
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot issues and refine processes, ensuring high-quality results.
• Perform first-article inspections and provide technical support to production teams to guarantee compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and program archives to facilitate knowledge sharing and future development.
• Evaluate and adhere to safety and quality regulations to prevent errors and hazards.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist Programmer is required.

Proficiency in Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software such as Alphacam, Fusion 360, Solidworks, and others.

Strong understanding of G-code, M-code, and CNC machine operations is essential.

Familiarity with various materials including metals, woods, stones, aluminum, steel, and others.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills are necessary to achieve high-quality results.
