EC-Energy Events is seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Rotating Equipment Consultant to support our growing portfolio of technical events, training programs, and industry workshops. This is a part-time hybrid role , with flexibility for work-from-home and virtual engagements.
Role Overview
The selected consultant will play a key role in delivering technical training , participating as a panelist or speaker in our conferences, and supporting the evaluation of technical paper submissions . Additionally, the consultant will provide expert guidance on rotating equipment performance, diagnostics, and reliability to enrich the content and technical quality of our platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert-led training sessions (in-person and / or virtual) on rotating equipment topics
- Participate as a speaker , panelist , or moderator during technical conferences and forums
- Evaluate technical paper submissions and contribute to shaping conference agendas
- Provide insights on performance assessments, diagnostics, and maintenance strategies
- Collaborate with the EnergyConnect team to align content with industry trends and end-user needs
- Support the development of technical case studies and knowledge-sharing sessions
Requirements
Proven expertise in rotating equipment, including performance assessment, failure analysis, and reliability strategiesStrong training or presentation experience in the energy or industrial sectorFamiliarity with turbomachinery, compressors, pumps, bearings, lubrication, and vibration analysisAbility to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams across functionsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsComfortable with hybrid work arrangements (virtual delivery + occasional travel)Experience in technical events, knowledge-sharing forums, or industry committees is a strong plusBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred)Skills Required
