Part-time / Advisory Role / Subject Matter Expert

People Tech Group (PTG) is seeking an accomplished Senior Advisor / Consultant to accelerate our growth in Aerospace. This role is ideal for a recently retired senior executive or engineering leader with deep operational expertise and proven experience driving digital transformation initiatives within aerospace manufacturing, MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul).

As a trusted advisor, you will leverage your industry knowledge and leadership experience to shape our strategy, refine our messaging, guide proof-of-concept (POC) investments, and help us identify and win strategic opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a subject matter expert on aerospace operations, manufacturing, and digitalization.
Advice on how leading aerospace and develop and execute digital transformation strategies, including :
Digital Twins for Design Validation & Simulation
Model Based Systems Engineering
Smart Factories & Industry 4.0, Predictive Maintenance
Fleet Optimization, Connected Aircraft / Real time monitoring
Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul Digitalization
Certification & Compliance Automation
Support business development by leveraging your network to identify and open new opportunities.
Lead customer meetings and workshops with stakeholders, from executives to engineering and operations teams.
Guide internal teams on messaging and positioning to accurately capture customer needs.
Provide direction on use of case development, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

15–20 years in Aerospace & Defense, including 10+ years in senior leadership roles in Digital, IT, Strategy, Operations, or Technology.

Alternatively, significant consulting or advisory experience at firms such as McKinsey, Bain, Deloitte, Accenture, or with technology providers like Siemens, Dassault Systèmes, PTC, Honeywell Aerospace, GE Digital.

Hands-on experience leading digital transformation programs in aerospace manufacturing.

Experience working with vendors and partners providing digital solutions, including involvement in selection processes.

Strong understanding of aerospace operations, supply chain, and regulatory compliance.

Exceptional communication and executive stakeholder engagement skills.

A strong industry network across major aerospace and defense companies.

Previous roles at companies such as :

India : HAL, Tata Aerospace, Mahindra Aerospace, or captive centers of global majors.
