Position Purpose :
The Network Engineer will be responsible for administering and maintaining our distributed network infrastructure, which spans all locations and supports both IT and OT environments, in Cloud and on-premise. This includes over 748 active devices, such as Fortinet Firewalls, Aruba Switches, and Aruba Access Points, which ensure connectivity across business and industrial systems.
Major / Key Accountabilities :
- Administer and maintain the global network infrastructure across all sites. This includes over 748 active devices, such as Fortinet Firewalls, Aruba Switches, and Aruba Access Points, which ensure connectivity across business and industrial systems.
- Manage and support Aruba transversal services, including ClearPass and the AirWave management console.
- Maintain and evolve connectivity services in both on-premise and cloud environments, across IT and OT domains, in alignment with IEC 62443 and the Purdue industrial model.
- Ensure timely upgrades and patching of networking hardware and software.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents, working closely with suppliers and vendors when needed.
- Provide operational and strategic support for web proxy and secure endpoint solutions, including platforms such as Zscaler and Netskope.
- Maintain up-to-date and detailed documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and asset inventories.
- Actively collaborate with other ICT teams on ongoing projects and incidents.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Appreciated experienced in Industrial and / or Chemical sector.Solid experience in enterprise network management and support.Hands-on expertise with Fortinet firewalls, Aruba switches and access points, ClearPass, and AirWave.Strong understanding of web proxy architectures and SASE / SSE solutions (e.g., Zscaler, Netskope).Good knowledge of IT / OT convergence principles and industrial networking.Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and case management skills.Knowledge of networking and security best practices.Preferred qualifications :
CCNA and / or Fortinet NSE certifications.Experience in industrial or chemical sector environments.Familiarity with IEC 62443, Purdue model, and OT security concepts.Exposure to Azure cloud networking and hybrid network modelsLanguages :
