Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Node.js and AWS Developer with strong hands-on expertise in building and maintaining scalable, cloud-native microservices. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with JavaScript, TypeScript , and modern AWS services , along with a solid understanding of CI / CD pipelines, databases, and agile development practices.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize cloud-based applications that power critical business processes in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable microservices using Node.js , AWS Lambda , and API Gateway (or React AWS).

Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices in JavaScript and TypeScript .

Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle — from requirements analysis to deployment.

Perform unit testing , debugging, and performance tuning to ensure reliability and efficiency.

Work with AWS services such as S3, ECS, Lambda, Glue, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, IAM, and Athena .

Collaborate with DevOps teams to maintain CI / CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins / Bamboo , and automation tools.

Ensure high-quality documentation of design, code, and deployment processes.

Contribute to code reviews and agile ceremonies (stand ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).

Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high-performance cloud solutions.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

5–8 years of hands-on development experience in Node.js with JavaScript and TypeScript .

Strong experience with AWS cloud services (S3, Lambda, ECS, Glue, DynamoDB, SQS / SNS, IAM, Athena).

Solid understanding of RDBMS , SQL queries , joins , and stored procedures .

Proficient in CI / CD , build automation tools like Git , Jenkins , or Bamboo .

Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks such as JEST .

Familiarity with Bitbucket , GitHub , Jira , Splunk , and PostgreSQL is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving , debugging , and analytical skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to thrive in an Agile / Scrum environment.

Investment Management domain knowledge is an added advantage.
