Siemens Opcenter / Camstar Technical Lead

As MES IT Engineer, you will be part of the team who is hands-on in Designing, Configuring, testing, deploying, and supporting our MES platforms during the US Pacific Time Zone. You should have a strong domain expertise with Siemens Opcenter and / or Camstar etc. You will be directly involved in partnering with the client MES COE team in implementing & supporting the world-class Manufacturing Execution systems. You will work directly with Client's leads to ensure high level goals and objectives of the project & Support operations are being met.

Job Responsibilities

o Partnering with cross-functional team of MES Project Implementation & Camstar / Opcenter Support

o Be part of Manufacturing Apps DevOps team in an Agile / Scrum environment

o Track and report operations performance to IT Project & Operations management team

o Foster a culture of value delivery and continuous improvement

o Build and maintain relationships with other IT leads

o Support the Camstar & Opcenter Application during US Pacific day

Job Qualifications

Required Skills and Knowledge :

o A Bachelor or Masters degree in Engineering or equivalent.

o Over 5 years of hands-on techno-functional experience (70% Technical & 30% Functional) with Siemens Camstar and Opcenter Applications

o Deep familiarity with industry-leading MES Applications (Critical Manufacturing, Siemens etc.).

o Candidates with Hi-Tech / Semiconductor manufacturing will be preferred. Exposure to Fab Manufacturing will be a great advantage.

o Coding experience in Equipment automation or SPC system enhancements

o Knowledge of at least one OOPs language (e.G. Java, C++, C#, VB) – any one of these

o Working knowledge of at least one of the following : SECS / GEM, Socket communication is a plus.

o Exposure to MES technologies, including automated data collection, historian applications, visualization, quality and efficiency in manufacturing, SCADA, automated decision control, workflow, database applications, scheduling, and interface to ERP systems or Shop floor equipment will be highly preferred

o Exposure to Manufacturing equipment integration through MES connectors (example : KEPServerEx connector) is a plus

Application Support Skills :

• Good understanding of the Application Support processes
• Hands on deep support & troubleshooting experience in Camstar / Opcenter
• Camstar / Opcenter Apps administration and support experience.
• Experience with Atlassian tools : Bitbucket / git and JIRA.
• Experience with Linux systems, Windows server, Oracle database and SQL Server DB
• Able to coordinate with other IT Teams & IT management
• Good exposure in working with product vendor & Patching of system.
• Good exposure in resolving Security Vulnerabilities
