Manager - Operations
Key Responsibilities
1. Department Operations
- Oversee daily departmental activities to ensure seamless functioning.
- Ensure targets are achieved consistently and efficiently.
2. Execution Management
Translate strategic goals into actionable execution plans.Ensure timely delivery of all tasks and projects.3. Process Implementation
Develop, document, and implement SOPs for operational efficiency.Continuously refine processes to improve accountability and workflow.4. Performance Tracking & Reporting
Track KPIs and prepare weekly / monthly reports for senior management.Present departmental dashboards and performance summaries to the HOD.5. Cross-functional Coordination
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth inter-department workflows.Address operational issues promptly and coordinate resolutions.6. Continuous Improvement
Identify operational gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.Recommend and drive practical solutions to enhance performance.Key Skills & Attributes
Strong coordination, planning, and problem-solving abilities.Good communication and team management skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.Analytical mindset with focus on metrics, quality, and outcomes.High sense of ownership, responsibility, and accountability.Willingness to travel as per business Bachelor's or Master's degree in General Management or a related field.Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in operations or team management.Prior leadership or supervisory experience is an added advantage.(ref : iimjobs.com)
