AVP - Legal

About the role :

This role is pivotal in ensuring that slice operates within the legal frameworks defined by RBI and other regulatory authorities, while also supporting our business teams on transactional, contractual, and operational matters. You'll be part of a small, agile legal team working closely with key stakeholders across the organization. You will also be a vital link between Executive Management and other key stakeholders.

What You will do :

1. Regulatory & Compliance :

• Ensure the bank's operations adhere to all applicable laws and RBI guidelines.
• Interpret and apply regulatory updates relevant to Small Finance Banks.
• Support in preparing and reviewing responses to regulatory authorities (RBI, SEBI, FIU, etc.).
• Guide on implementation of regulatory circulars impacting products, branches, and business functions.
