Role Description

This is a remote contract role for an Engineer. The Engineer will design, develop, and implement blockchain protocols and secure financial systems. Responsibilities include coding, testing, and maintaining high-performance and scalable software solutions. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing applications, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Qualifications

Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C++, or Rust

Experience with blockchain development, including smart contracts, decentralized applications (DApps), and understanding of consensus algorithms

Proficiency in database technologies and cloud platforms

Solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and software architecture

Create and maintain system design documentation effectively

Ability to work independently and deliver results in a remote, collaborative, fast-paced environment

Knowledge of cryptography, security protocols, or FinTech systems is a strong advantage

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
