About the Role
Join the remote operations team of a UK CQC-regulated clinic. This is a non-patient-facing, non-dispensing role focused on protocol-driven data checks, medication workflow QA, and safety logging within structured SOPs under UK clinical supervision. Ideal for pharmacists who’ve worked in healthtech, PV / drug safety, clinical data ops, or EMR / eRx operations.
What You’ll Do
- Protocol checks : Validate requests against predefined eligibility rules (indication, prior approvals, timing, dose ranges).
- Data quality : Review structured clinical forms, medication histories, and repeat requests; correct obvious data defects; maintain clean logs.
- eRx workflow QA : Verify directions, quantities, repeats, and interaction flags per SOP; route exceptions for UK clinical review.
- Safety ops : Intake, code, and escalate adverse events via templates (e.g., MedDRA / dm+d terms if known); maintain audit trail.
- Ops coordination : Track deliveries, confirm stock statuses / formulary alternatives, and update queue notes.
- SOP discipline : Follow access rules, escalation ladders, and SLAs; contribute to incremental SOP improvements.
- Comms : Collaborate with the UK team asynchronously and in real time (chat / email) with clear, concise updates.
You’ll Succeed If You Have
Pharmacy degree (BPharm or higher).2+ years in any of : healthtech ops, PV / drug safety, EMR / EHR / e-prescribing operations, clinical data abstraction, or regulated admin.Excellent written English and documentation habits; comfort with queue tools (Jira / Zendesk), spreadsheets, and templates.Standards awareness : familiarity with any of MedDRA, SNOMED CT, dm+d, ICD-10 (nice to have).SOP mindset : high accuracy, fast throughput, reliable escalation; comfortable working UK business hours / night shifts if needed.No clinical decision-making —you know when to escalate.Important Scope Notes
This role does not involve : clinical decision-making, direct patient advice, accessing NHS systems / SCRs, handling CDs, or issuing prescriptions.
