Job description

Location : India – Remote

Type : Full-time

Salary : Competitive (DOE)

About the Role

Join the remote operations team of a UK CQC-regulated clinic. This is a non-patient-facing, non-dispensing role focused on protocol-driven data checks, medication workflow QA, and safety logging within structured SOPs under UK clinical supervision. Ideal for pharmacists who’ve worked in healthtech, PV / drug safety, clinical data ops, or EMR / eRx operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Protocol checks : Validate requests against predefined eligibility rules (indication, prior approvals, timing, dose ranges).
  • Data quality : Review structured clinical forms, medication histories, and repeat requests; correct obvious data defects; maintain clean logs.
  • eRx workflow QA : Verify directions, quantities, repeats, and interaction flags per SOP; route exceptions for UK clinical review.
  • Safety ops : Intake, code, and escalate adverse events via templates (e.g., MedDRA / dm+d terms if known); maintain audit trail.
  • Ops coordination : Track deliveries, confirm stock statuses / formulary alternatives, and update queue notes.
  • SOP discipline : Follow access rules, escalation ladders, and SLAs; contribute to incremental SOP improvements.
  • Comms : Collaborate with the UK team asynchronously and in real time (chat / email) with clear, concise updates.

You’ll Succeed If You Have

  • Pharmacy degree (BPharm or higher).
  • 2+ years in any of : healthtech ops, PV / drug safety, EMR / EHR / e-prescribing operations, clinical data abstraction, or regulated admin.
  • Excellent written English and documentation habits; comfort with queue tools (Jira / Zendesk), spreadsheets, and templates.
  • Standards awareness : familiarity with any of MedDRA, SNOMED CT, dm+d, ICD-10 (nice to have).
  • SOP mindset : high accuracy, fast throughput, reliable escalation; comfortable working UK business hours / night shifts if needed.
  • No clinical decision-making —you know when to escalate.
  • Important Scope Notes

This role does not involve : clinical decision-making, direct patient advice, accessing NHS systems / SCRs, handling CDs, or issuing prescriptions.

    What We Offer

  • Work with a UK-regulated organisation, with SOP-led onboarding
  • Stable, remote, long-term role with clear governance and supportive team
