Hitachi Energy is seeking Software Development Engineer for its Bangalore, IN location and be part of a global organization with offices in Houston, San Jose (CA.), Vasteras (Sweden) and Kra-kow (Poland). Under limited direction, perform complex assignments requiring diversified knowledge Software development and software engineering to cost effectively accomplish the organization's goals and objectives. Proactively seek and implement initiatives to improve quality and increase customer satisfaction.

System Integrator role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems while applying DevOps principles to ensure continuous integration, delivery, and monitoring of automation solutions

How you’ll make an impact

• Design, develop, and configure NM SCADA EMS / GMS systems based on user documentation, and identify any gaps.
• Identify and document discrepancies in installation and user documentation; collaborate with the documentation team to improve procedures for software upgrades across different versions.
• Ensure real-time data acquisition, visualization, and control by performing system testing, validation, and commissioning.
• Implement CI / CD pipelines for NM SCADA software and scripts; automate deployment of SCADA configurations and updates.
• Document system architecture, configurations, and procedures in close coordination with R&D, engineering, and operations teams.
• Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage SCADA project files and code.
• Monitor system performance using DevOps tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
