Overseas Education Counselor / Academic Counselor

Job description

WeConnect Overseas is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education Counsellor to join our team. As an Education Counselor, you will be responsible for guiding students through the process of selecting and applying to study abroad programs, as well as providing ongoing support throughout their study abroad experience.

Job responsibilities :

• Provide personalized counseling to students on study abroad program options, including academic requirements, financial considerations, and cultural immersion opportunities
• Advise students on the application process for study abroad programs, including preparing application materials, submitting applications, and following up with program providers
• Assist students with securing funding for study abroad programs, including scholarships, grants, and loans
• Organize pre-departure orientation sessions for students, including information on travel, housing, and cultural adaptation
• Provide ongoing support to students throughout their study abroad experience and also assist them in building their profile.
• Assist with the development and promotion of study abroad programs and initiatives
