Role Description

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Instructor to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. The instructor will be responsible for designing and delivering online cybersecurity training , developing course materials, and evaluating student performance. You will play a key role in guiding students through their cybersecurity learning journey and preparing them for successful careers in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver comprehensive cybersecurity training courses that cover key areas such as network security, ethical hacking, cloud security, threat management, and incident response.
  • Develop course materials , including lectures, hands-on labs, assignments, and assessments.
  • Evaluate student progress and performance , providing constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and certifications , integrating them into the curriculum.
  • Mentor and support students in their career development and certification preparation (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, etc.).
  • Foster an engaging and inclusive online learning environment through interactive sessions and discussions.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Cybersecurity , including areas such as threat analysis, vulnerability management, ethical hacking, and security operations.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of industry experience in cybersecurity or a related IT field.
  • Experience in designing and delivering online technical training .
  • Strong communication and presentation skills , with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Knowledge of current cybersecurity standards, frameworks, and best practices .
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring students to help them achieve their career goals.
  • Relevant degree or certification in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related disciplines (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM, or similar).
