Coastal Safety Specialist

As a Marine Safety Officer , you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety of our vessels and crew. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement effective safety protocols, while also monitoring compliance with relevant international rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Implement Integrated Management System and Ship Security Plan
• Ensure good communication between ashore departments and vessels
• Manage and follow up on ISM, ISPS, MLC, ISO, and flag audits
• Conduct QSSE audits or inquiries onboard assigned vessels
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions
• Investigate accidents
• Provide training to shore department and ship staff
• Participate in regulation monitoring
• Serve as contact point for flag administrations and support Fleet department
• Participate in Emergency Response Team when needed
• Be available for worldwide travel

Requirements :

• Officer licenses preferred
• Training in ISM, ISO Internal auditor, CSO, and accident investigation
• Fluent English language skills
• QHSSE management knowledge
