VMC or CNC Operator

We are seeking a skilled VMC Operator to set up, operate, and maintain VMC

machines for precision component manufacturing. The role requires hands-on

experience in CNC / VMC operations, understanding of machining processes, and

adherence to quality standards to ensure high accuracy and productivity.

Key Responsibilities :

 Set up and operate VMC machines as per production requirements.

 Interpret engineering drawings, job orders, and specifications to determine

machining requirements.

 Prepare, install, and adjust tools, fixtures, and workpieces.

 Monitor machining operations to ensure precision, surface finish, and quality.

 Perform basic programming, offsets, and tool corrections on the VMC

machine.

 Inspect and measure finished parts using precision instruments (Vernier,

Micrometre, Height Gauge, CMM).

 Maintain machine efficiency through routine checks, lubrication, and

preventive maintenance.

 Follow workplace safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

 Report deviations, machine breakdowns, or quality issues to supervisors.

Requirements :

 Experience operating VMC machines.

 Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.

 Basic knowledge of tooling and machining processes.

 Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality standards.

 Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

 ITI or Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering (preferred).

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : ₹25,000- ₹30,000 per month
