Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect with a strong foundation in J2EE technologies and extensive expertise in the airport domain. The successful candidate will design and implement scalable, innovative software solutions tailored to the aviation industry while providing technical leadership and hands-on development support.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architectural Design

  • Lead the design and architecture of J2EE-based software solutions specific to the airport domain.
  • Define and document technical specifications aligned with business objectives.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies to achieve project goals effectively.

2. Technical Leadership

  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to individual contributors and development teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to foster innovation.

    • 3. Hands-On Development

  • Actively participate in coding, debugging, and developing complex software applications.
  • Contribute to the development of critical modules and components to meet high-quality standards.
  • Ensure code scalability, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.

    • 4. Airport Domain Expertise

  • Apply deep knowledge of airport-related technologies, systems, and processes to develop tailored solutions.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand and refine domain-specific requirements.
  • Offer recommendations based on industry standards and best practices.

    • 5. Collaboration and Communication

  • Partner with product managers, business analysts, and quality assurance teams for end-to-end project delivery.
  • Effectively convey technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Participate in client discussions and provide expert-level technical input as required.

    • Qualifications and Skills

    Education

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

    • Experience

  • 12+ years of experience as a Technical Architect with a focus on J2EE technologies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the airport domain, including aviation-related systems and processes.

    • Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework , and related technologies.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes .
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

    • Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

    • Certifications (Preferred)

  • Certifications in relevant technologies such as Java or Spring Framework .

    • Methodologies

  • Hands-on familiarity with Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) .
