Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant located in Kotdwar / Noida.
Key Responsibilities :
- Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Maintain and update books of accounts as per accounting standards and company policies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts, ledgers, payables, and receivables.
- Manage journal entries, general ledger, and trial balance preparation.
- Invoicing & Billing
- Prepare and issue sales invoices for both domestic and export transactions in coordination with the sales and logistics teams.
- Ensure invoices comply with GST, export documentation, and banking requirements.
- Monitor and record payments received against invoices and ensure timely realization of dues.
- Taxation & Compliance
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory filings for domestic and export operations.
- Prepare and submit returns, reconcile tax ledgers, and ensure adherence to filing timelines.
- Coordinate with auditors and consultants for compliance and assessments.
- BRC Preparation
- Prepare and submit BRCs for all export transactions in coordination with banks and the export department.
- Maintain documentation of foreign inward remittances for DGFT and export incentive purposes.
- Export Incentives
- Prepare and submit applications for FOCUS, RoDTEP, TMA, and other export incentives.
- Maintain and update records related to export incentive claims and their realizations.
- Coordinate with banks, DGFT, and other authorities to ensure timely receipt of benefits.
- Cost Control & Expenditure Management
- Monitor and verify all company expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Identify and recommend cost-cutting measures across production, logistics, and administration.
- Conduct cost analysis and variance reports to support management in decision-making.
- Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Audits & Internal Controls
- Support statutory, internal, and tax audits by preparing required schedules and documentation.
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure transparency and accuracy in all financial transactions.
- Export & Domestic Sales Accounting
- Maintain separate accounting records for domestic and export sales.
- Ensure timely invoicing, payment realization, and reconciliation of foreign currency accounts.
- Coordinate with logistics, export documentation, and banks for smooth processing of export payments.
- Other Responsibilities
- Liaise with banks, auditors, and government authorities as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all financial data.
- Continuously review and improve financial processes and support automation initiatives.
