About the Role

As a Night Shift Video Editor at YAAS!, you'll be responsible for creating high-quality video content during night hours to ensure seamless 24 / 7 production cycles. You'll work on diverse content formats including YouTube videos, social media content, and branded productions while maintaining our signature quality standards. This role is perfect for editors who thrive in focused, distraction-free environments and want to be part of our round-the-clock content creation machine.

Responsibilities

Edit and deliver high-quality videos for various platforms during night shift hours

Handle both short-form and long-form content editing with quick turnaround times

Apply advanced editing techniques, transitions, and effects to enhance storytelling

Collaborate with day-shift teams through detailed handover processes and project documentation

Optimize content for platform-specific requirements (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn)

Maintain consistent brand identity and visual standards across all content

Meet overnight deadlines to ensure content is ready for next-day delivery

Provide regular progress updates and maintain clear communication with production managers

Handle urgent editing requests and last-minute client revisions during night hours

Archive and organize project files for seamless team collaboration

Qualifications & Required Skills

2-4 years of professional video editing experience with strong technical foundation

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other industry-standard editing software

Experience with motion graphics, color correction, and audio enhancement

Strong portfolio demonstrating editing skills across different content formats

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night hours

Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Understanding of YouTube and social media content best practices

Reliable internet connection and suitable home setup for night shift work

Flexibility to occasionally coordinate with international clients in different time zones

Strong written communication skills for effective remote collaboration
