Job description2- 10 years of experience in QA / security engineering for enterprise software (preferably data protection, backup, or security platforms) Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), virtualization, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and secure integration of these with on-premise infrastructure Good knowledge in using threat detection scanners / feeder like Google Mandiant, Qualys, YARA Understood how Distater Recovery works Experience with automation tools for QA, penetration, regression testing, and vulnerability assessment. Strong grasp of encryption, secure backup / recovery, and network security concepts. Knowledge of DevOps, CI / CD pipelines, and secure SDLC practices Experience in Python, C, C++, Java, Angular, Selenium, Robot is a plus Excellent collaboration skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams and interface with customers and technology partners Technical writing skills for clear documentation of processes, test results, and field-facing guidance
Job Description :
Role : Data and cloud security QA
Location : Pune || WFO
About the Role :
You will be responsible for quality assurance of enterprise-grade data protection and cloud security products. You will design, implement, and execute QA processes to test backup, recovery, threat detection, Anomaly detection and data management features specifically targeted for cloud and hybrid data center environments. Youll work cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and security compliance teams to ensure products meet both regulatory standards and real-world resilience against cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, execute, and automate test plans and test cases for cloud, datacenter, and hybrid security features.
- Perform hands-on testing of products backup / recovery, cloud data protection, and threat detection (including AI-based and signature-based modules).
- Collaborate with engineering teams on secure SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) practices and vulnerability remediation[5].
- Analyze customer deployment scenarios to ensure real-world security and reliability across diverse environments (cloud, on-prem, hybrid)
- Provide technical documentation, test reports, and best-practice guidance to internal teams as part of enabling secure deployments.
- Conduct penetration testing and support vulnerability scans as required by compliance frameworks
