Education Program Director Opportunity
This senior role oversees the development and execution of large-scale education programs across multiple regions. Success in this position requires strategic planning, effective stakeholder management, and expertise in program operations.
Responsibilities :
- Program Planning & Calendarization : Develop annual and cohort calendars, map milestones, runbooks, and critical paths, ensuring seamless coordination across time zones.
- Admissions & Enrollment : Oversee application review, selection, orientation, and the enrollment funnel, providing proactive support to at-risk learners.
- Instructor & Content Operations : Recruit and schedule instructors, manage briefs, collect assignments, and ensure accessibility features like captions, transcripts, and alt text are implemented.
- Live Delivery & Learner Experience : Host or stage-manage live sessions, maintain community spaces, and ensure SLAs for learner support are met.
- Platforms & Tooling : Administer LMS, video, and collaboration tools, maintaining SOPs, troubleshooting, and coordinating with vendors as needed.
- Assessment & Credentials : Uphold academic integrity, track assignments, issue certificates, and verify records.
- Localization & Accessibility : Coordinate translation / subtitling, adapt schedules and holidays, and meet accessibility standards.
- Data, Analytics & Reporting : Maintain dashboards, analyze engagement and outcomes, and publish weekly updates and final reports.
- Budget & Vendor Management : Track spend, manage honoraria, micro-grants, and contracts, ensuring timely payments.
- Compliance & Safeguarding : Respect privacy and data protection, uphold codes of conduct, and escalate issues promptly.
- Continuous Improvement : Gather feedback, run retrospectives, and prioritize improvements to curriculum, workflows, and tooling.
Requirements :
5+ years leading large-scale online education programs across multiple regions.Proven program operations expertise : calendars, instructor ops, live delivery, learner support, and quality control.Hands-on experience with LMS platforms (e.g., Canvas, Moodle) and video / conferencing tools.Strong project management, stakeholder management, and problem-solving under time pressure.Comfort working across Americas / EMEA / APAC time zones and excellent written / verbal communication skills.About the Role :
This is a remote-first opportunity with regular overlap required with at least two regions. Occasional travel may be necessary for summits or partner events.
